The 35th edition of the Beret Marxa skiing was held with a large increase in participants, 375 more than last year. There were almost 1,300 distance runners who have covered three distances of 10, 21 and 42 km. All of them started in the Pla de Beret Sunday, February 2.
The 3rd edition of World Snow Day took place in spectacular fashion on 19th January 2014. Globally, 610 Organisers in 35 countries staged unique events in a friendly and fun environment to celebrate all things on snow. World Snow Day saw once again creativity resonate throughout the events. Austria, Canada, France, Iceland, Latvia, Norway, Poland and Sweden all staged nationwide events.
Baqueira team are working on the preparation of tracks and services because next Saturday 30 Station Val d' Aran and valleys Àneu to open its three sectors. Right now there is snow thicknesses between 120 cms. in low dimensions and 170 in the higher elevations .
